What you’ll do
- Join our team and work with a talented group of professionals to lead and support data initiatives. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of retail organizations by leveraging data to build innovative solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with various teams to define essential metrics, design data strategies, and generate impactful insights that will enhance our products and services.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust data models, automation systems, and reporting frameworks to provide real-time insights into key performance indicators.
- Continuously evaluate and explore opportunities to enhance products and processes through the power of data insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions that support informed decision-making.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in data engineering, GCP, and cloud orchestration tools, applying them to continuously improve our data infrastructure.
What you’ll bring
- General experience with:
- Stream processing
- Operational and analytical data pipelines
- Domain driven design
- Data products design
- Experience working with Cloud Platforms especially services on Google Cloud Platform such as:
- Experience with dbt
- Confident knowledge of Python
- Strong analytical mindset, with a focus on delivering simple, impactful, and actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to explain complex data topics in clear, concise language to a diverse group of stakeholders.
- A self-driven, autonomous approach to problem-solving, with a creative flair and strong teamwork capabilities.
We’d love you to have
- Experience or understanding in ML concepts.
- A passion for working in fast-growing, mission-driven companies that aim to make a positive impact on customer experience.
- Experience in a remote, distributed team environment, bringing a collaborative spirit and strong communication skills across multiple time zones.
